this will not be the end,
i pretend it's ok to ignore,
sometimes it is better to pretend,
most people have bought the lie,
somebody being happy,
and the other seemingly feeling the same,
nobody hurts in the end,
we're just excuses to the posts we make,

the only remedy is for me to get drunk,
i'll take the shots that drag me down,
changing me into another person,
and just put a mask on to fools garden,
there's no more crying,
i watch the lights and sights dwindle,
thinking of you saying how you like them,
past is past, it has to be left at that,

i'll think of you later in my empty room,
until i fall asleep alone,
it's a drag but i like the sense of helplessness it gives,
if anybody knows who i'm turning out to be,
i'll give them a pat and my suicide note later on,
its better for a x'mas gift,
everybody has change themselves,
i won't be changed,
i'll just be the dagger that just wants to cut my wrist.
